“Well, my bags are packed…I’m ready to go.” But I’m not leaving on a jet plane. Thankfully, I don’t have to fly to attend the Bead&Button show. I live close enough to Milwaukee that I can drive there in about three hours. Although the show runs from June 3 through June 13, I’m only going for two days. It gets rather expensive when one adds lodging and meals to the price of classes, which have increased in cost this year. I will miss attending the “Meet the Teachers” event, but that would have added an extra night to my stay. And there really aren’t any classes I’m interested in taking aside from a workshop taught by Susan Lenart Kazmer… I always enjoy her classes! I look forward to viewing the display of “Bead Dreams” winning entries and of course, attending the floor show where vendors sell their wares. Surely, I will find some goodies to bring back to the studio…there always seem to be new “can’t live without” tools, beads, supplies, and various trinkets for sale! I’ll show you my new treasures when I return to the studio!
