I’ve just received a shipment of itsy-bitsy Czech glass Baby Spike beads in a beautiful array of Aurora Borealis colors and neutrals. I can’t wait to play with these! I’m itching to do another bead embroidered cuff and these will be perfect additions to the seed beads and pearls I plan to use along with one of my “Cosmic Cabochons” and maybe some metal clay embellishments as well! Because they are only 5mm x 8mm they will peek out here and there rather than dangerously jutting out! I wish I’d had these when I was making the cuff shown in the photo below. They would have been lovely surrounded by keishi pearls!
I’ve purchased a large quantity of these adorable Baby Spikes, so I’ll be offering some for sale in my Etsy shop. I’ve even put together several “Baby Spike Treasure Collections”. Each collection contains four dozen of each color for a total of two-hundred eighty-eight…just think of all the projects you can use them in!
