One to go to make a pair, although it’s perfectly fine to wear just one earring. In fact, the July 2014 issue of Vogue magazine has a six page spread in which the only piece of jewelry worn is a single earring. Of course, the earring featured on each page is by no means diminutive. Each earring shown holds its own in a unique, super colossal, fashion statement, show stopping sense. While turning the pages, I was actually so fixated on the earring, that I didn’t notice the clothing the model was wearing! I love the ripe, juicy colors of the hexagonal geometric earrings I’m presently working on…they blend so well with my “Fantasy Flora” Cuff. As I start work on the second earring, I’ll be taking process photos and writing step-by-step instructions for creating the beaded drop as well as the polymer clay-wrapped stem component…stay tuned!
