I’d rather be doing just about anything other than taxes. I’d gladly clean my cat’s litter box all day long in lieu of this boring task. I’m wading through last year’s receipts, tallying up sales slips, figuring expenses…what a drag! It is the antithesis of creative endeavor! Accounting has never been my strong suit, but it must be done. My next beading project calls to me and I’ve chosen beautiful matte, iridescent, and metallic shades of green, purple, and blue beads. I’m dying to start working on this project, but it will wait a day or two, albeit impatiently, until I can pick up needle and thread and once again start to play with wild abandon!
Would it not make it easier to do receipts at the end of each month I preparation. A couple of hours makes it all the easier at the end of the year when you just have to tally the totals.
The new beady project colours look gorgeous,I can’t wait to see what will be made.
Jen, I’ve often thought of doing that with the best of intentions, but then the months pass by so rapidly and I realize I’ve forgotten. I’m just resigned to the fact that two days per year will be spent sorting receipts, etc., and after it’s finished, I have a nice glass of scotch and celebrate the fact that I won’t have to do that task for another year!
