While sorting through files recently, I came across a photo that I had taken shortly after receiving the long-awaited CGB Volume One. I had just finished my very first attempt at geometric beadwork and was extremely pleased with the end result. I titled the bangle “Moroccan Delight” because the colors and pattern work made me think of painted ceramic tiles one might see while strolling through a market or bazaar in that part of the world. I took several “art shots” of the piece and notice that with winged points facing upwards, the bangle very much resembled a tiny crown. Of course, I had the perfect model lazing about in my studio…introducing the mackerel snapper, Her Royal Highness, Princess Peek-a-Boo!

Lovely everything!
Thank you, Alicia!
Cute!!!!!
Thanks, Martha! She’s such a sweetie pie!
Ha ha so cute! My 2 would be trying to eat it..
Erika, I think given the chance, Peek-a-Boo would just sniff at it and walk away. The only things she plays with are her little fake mice…she’s really a good girl!
Oh you are soooo lucky these 2 Siamese rascals keep me on my toes!! Beading my necklace will be a BIG challenge!
Erika, I used to have a cat that would eat my yarn as I was knitting…I kept wondering why the yarn broke off after every few yards until I caught her in the act!
