I’m still hard at work on my “Floral Brooch” design. The tutorial is written and I’m making a third brooch to fine-tune the design and edit the instructions as needed. Having created the brooch in “Passion Flower” and “Blue Dahlia” colourways, my latest work in progress is in a “Bronze Chrysanthemum” colourway with a touch of aqua thrown in as an accent. Having completed the body of the flower, I’m presently working on the petal portion, which is worked off a foundation of MRAW (modified right angle weave inspired by CGB). I hope to have this brooch finished and the tutorial ready to go in the next few days with beading kits to follow. Stay tuned!
A sneak peek….
