My beading project and all jewelry-making will be put on hold for the next few days. Right now Bellwort and ferns are starting to emerge so I must clear the beds of leaves and debris before more flowers start to bloom! The herb garden is starting to come to life as well so I’ll be trekking to our local nursery for loads of basil, parsley, thyme and other herbs. I love this time of the year! Everything is coming to life again after months of hibernation! I’ve noticed activity in the bluebird house and our pair of mourning doves will be working on their nest soon…they always build in the same corner of the roof every year! I’ll be back to beading in a few days, but for the next day or two, I’ll be donning my gardening gloves, jeans, and bug spray…Mother Nature calls!
