I truly dislike when life gets in the way of my beading and jewelry making! This week has been fraught with the comings and goings of house painters, plumbers, and running errands. Also, as Secretary of our Homeowners Association, I’ve been preparing for our annual meeting, which will entail electing new officers, voting on amendments to our Covenants (I have already put countless hours into re-writing those!), and writing a proposal for cleaning up our woodlands that I will present at the meeting. Need I say that I will be thrilled when all this is finished and I can get back to life in my comfort zone, which translates to being in my studio, throwing on some great Film Noir DVDs, and returning to the geometric beaded ZigZag cuff project that is half-finished. That will be pure Nirvana!
