One thing that usually happens when I start designing is that the color palette I start with always expands. I’m simply compelled to add more shades of each color! If I start out with two colors that blend well, I end up adding another one or two colors that create more complexity. If you look at the photo I took several days ago as I was just starting this project and compare it with my present palette, you’ll notice that it has grown substantially from thirteen to twenty-two colors! And the colors have grown bolder and brighter! The color chart I've been working on has morphed as well with a total change in the body of the design as well as color placement. As it stands now, I have just one-half of the cuff designed and I have no idea what will occur on the opposite side of the MRAW foundation band….perhaps more wings, horns, maybe pretty petal shapes? I’ll have a better sense of direction once I’ve finished the portion I’m presently working on. Thus far, I’m very pleased, but don’t be surprised if many more changes occur during the design process!
