There’s a riot of color here! I’ve been very busy this past week making one-of-a-kind polymer clay cabochons that I’ll bezel with sterling silver to be used in brooch designs. And I’ve been making beads...lots of beads! I plan to combine them with sterling accents in bracelets and necklaces. The scrap clay “painting” (shown in the center) that these are made of is dwindling in size, but it has gone a long way! Last year I was into Polymer clay earrings (several are shown at the right side of the photo) that were inspired by the cut out work of Henri Matisse and I think cut outs made with scrap clay paintings would be very interesting indeed! Stay tuned for finished pieces to come!
