These earrings are the result of a brief stay in Paris two years ago. There was so much to see in the short time we were there…the Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame, the Musée Picasso. Alas! We did not make it to the Eiffel Tower although we could see it in the distance. It brought to mind the scene from the movie Casablanca when Ingrid Bergman says pleadingly to Humphrey Bogart “We’ll always have Paris.” I returned home with memories rather than souvenirs so I decided to stitch up these Eiffel Tower earrings which are great fun to wear and very lightweight. I offer this design as a beading kit on the Jewelry Kits page of my website. It’s a fast and easy project composed of Miyuki bugle beads, 15/0 seed beads, and crystals. The ear wires are 20 gauge ball tipped head pins which I made with Argentium Silver which is highly tarnish resistant. The project is suitable for beginning beaders.
