Voila! The finished product...

turned out just as I had hoped!

  The clasp is substantial - one and a half inches in diameter.  No doubt this will become part of a new bracelet design.  I visualize a beaded toggle to pair with it.  Perhaps I'll try my hand at beaded embroidery with a circular motif pattern featuring sparkly seed beads, pearls, and glass or gemstone cabachons secured by beaded bezels.  Eye candy for sure!  Or maybe I'll make a matching bronze metal clay toggle and have the flower disks dangle from sterling wire loops of various gauges and sizes.  Yes, that seems likes a great design!  Maybe I'll carve some small Faux Bone™ flower disks to go with the bronze ones!  Oooh - I can't wait to start, but I must curb my enthusiasm, reign myself in, and finish projects that I already have in progress!  As with so many of my handmade components, I have to have them lying around for a while, digest, and sort through the various ideas floating in my head before I actually start a piece.  It's just all part of the creative journey!
