Tranquility…

With latest events in the news and the continuing surge of the pandemic I seek and crave tranquility in any form. Thus, I’ve created this pair of earrings featuring a serene sitting Buddha that will serve as a reminder to step back and away from the chaos in our world, even if only momentarily. The faux Rose Quartz Buddha beads sit in an encasing of Delica and seed beads. A 10mm x 14mm pear shaped Swarovski  emerald-colored crystal cabochon is suspended at the beaded base and tiny flowers of shrink plastic grace the crown of each Buddha head. Feather-light and dangling from antiqued sterling silver ear wires, each earring measures 2.5″ in length. I’m working on the tutorial for these now and hope to have it as well as earring kits listed in my Etsy shop by the end of next week. FYI…I have the Buddha beads listed now but stock on the faux Jade and Amethyst colors is very low. I so love this earring, I may even make a pair using the faux Jade and faux Amethyst Buddha beads…after all, can one ever have too many earrings?
