They called her the "Purple Lady"...

BeadTreasureBox_AprilVioletMix_Etsy

When I was in my 20's, I had two jobs.  I was a cosmetologist, but I also had a part-time job as an Estee Lauder representative. One day as a customer approached the counter, my fellow sales associate said, "Here comes the purple lady!"  I inquired what she meant and was told that this particular customer never wore any color that wasn't purple or various shades thereof. Sure enough, she was wearing a purple dress accented with a lavender scarf and she had come to the cosmetics counter to buy lipstick in a vivid shade of violet! As I gathered various beads in those shades for this treasure box, I couldn't help but think of the "Purple Lady"! However, I did add some lovely shades of green and blue, which complement purple so well. The "April Violet" treasure box  contains approximately 150 grams of Delica and seed beads, vintage crystals, pearls, and pressed glass flower, dagger, and various other novelty beads nestled inside a nifty little travel tin. I’ve also included several of my handmade bronze metal clay sea urchin embellishments and a polymer clay seashell button with directions for attachment. You'll find this collection and others in my Etsy shop. Wouldn't this collection make a wonderful gift!
