Because I love to play with color combinations, just for fun I've mixed the colors of the second earring a bit using beads in the same color family, but reversing color sequence and opaque and silver-lined finishes of the colors. It's a very subtle nuance, but adds more interest to the all over design! Front and reverse sides of these interchangeable earrings are shown in the photos. I’m presently working on the tutorial and will have it and kits ready and listed in my Etsy shop in a few days...stay tuned!
They Are Finished!
I am loving this new pair of geometric earrings and they look super cool with my new specs! Each side of the earring sports a different colourway and can be worn as a matching pair or as a mismatched pair as I’ve chosen. One side of the earring is worked with Delica beads in warm tones of a bright red with yellow-orange combo and the other side is composed of cool tones with a lime and purplish-lavender colourway. What makes these mismatched earrings go together so well is the use of neutral shades of white, gunmetal, and grey that unite both colourways.
