These don’t look like much yet, but they will!

I spent yesterday making this collection of polymer clay core beads.   They will eventually become colorful focal beads to add to necklaces and brooches.  I’ll blend colors of polymer clay into ultra-thin sheets, mix patterns, add texture, and lay the veneers onto the core beads in an abstract fashion.  Some will be topped with finials of polymer clay and/or metal making them mini sculptural artworks.  It’s so handy to have a batch of these ready and waiting for those moments of inspiration!
