My husband is a neatnik and I love that because I never have to clean up after him! He dislikes clutter and I’ll admit that my side of the bathroom vanity is starting to become a bit messy with all my jewelry strewn about. Presently the counter holds two jewelry boxes, a display rack with about fifteen pairs of earrings hanging from it, and if that’s not enough, I even have several necklaces hanging from my makeup mirror! I have to admit, it is looking rather cluttered. I’ve been thinking about a more orderly system for storage, but I wanted something that will allow my art jewelry to be visible as well. I’ve been searching for a solution and now I’ve found just the thing! While perusing the aisles of a home center (the kind that sells everything from lumber to light bulbs), I came across this metal panel, which is perfect for earring storage, but with the addition of several hooks, it can also accommodate my handmade necklaces, bracelets, and rings. With just a glance, I can select whichever piece I want without rummaging through drawers or boxes. And now my bathroom vanity will have far more space, and best of all, my husband will be very pleased that my collection of jewelry is no longer lying about in an untidy mess. If this were a fairy tale, it would end with “and they lived happily ever after!”
