That's what I call her! For years I contemplated the purchase of a necklace form, but instead I always "made do" by forming and hammering on a bench block. Well, I finally broke down and bought one and I'm glad I did! I can now achieve just the right curve on a neck ring so it lies perfectly on one's neck. This photo shows a bronze neck ring in the making. I make a lot of neck rings and collars so this piece will pay for itself in no time. I keep it on my jeweler's work bench for easy access, because it also serves as a form on which to drape necklaces when I'm placing charms or elements on chain. There is nothing quite like having the right tool to fit the task at hand!
