The “Fire Dragon” Wrap tutorial is ready!

FireDragonWrap_Tutorial

I’ve just finished proofreading the tutorial for my “Fire Dragon” Wrap design (inspired by Kate McKinnon's book, "Contemporary Geometric Beadwork", and my previous “Sea Dragon” wrap designs) and it is now listed in my Etsy shop. It can be worn as a collar or it can be created as a wrist wrap by substituting 15/0 seed beads for the Delica beads used in the Foundation Band and Neckband (Delica beads are used for the Winged and Horned portions of either Wrap) and by inserting 1.75mm memory wire instead of the 2.25 memory wire used in the collar. This design would be stunning worn either way, but I think it is most dramatic as a collar and that’s how I’ve chosen to wear mine! Directions show how to create the tiny dragon’s head and make the mold, but you may opt to finish the ends of memory wire by adding beads and coiling the ends of the wire as well.  Beading kits for this design will follow very soon...stay tuned!
