I’m close to finishing these earrings and a tutorial is in the works, but I’m not in a rush. Perhaps it’s a function of age or maybe it’s just changing climate (weather, politics, our world), but I’ve lost the feeling of impetus to get “things” done. And frankly, I’m fine with that. No longer rushing to the studio in the morning, I’m content to ease into the day (sometimes until noon!) sipping my morning coffee on the sofa with a cat or two cuddling in a plush throw. I’m taking time to savor the sweet things in life. Ordinary things one generally takes for granted or hasn’t taken time to notice are more apparent now. I’m finding new beauty in my surroundings. It’s all good!
