My husband and I have a bet going. He thinks it's going to snow once more - I don't believe it will. It may be snowing in New Hampshire, but in the midwest,
the tree buds are exploding in clusters of yellow and chartreuse and the sweet scents of delicate blossoms abound. Bird songs, once again, fill the air. After the long silence of winter, their chirps and twitters are most welcome! In anticipation of the blue bird eggs hatching and the fledglings taking flight, I've made a pair of winged earrings. They are quite simple. Made of fine silver metal clay which I have oxidized to a subtle antique silver finish, they dangle and sway ever so gently from 20 gauge handmade earwires.
