I’ve been in Chicago for the past few days and walked along Michigan Avenue which is often referred to as the Magnificent Mile. I stopped in stores along the way to look at the spring fashions. I noticed that “bejeweled” collars that tie at the back with ribbon are still the rage and many of the sandals and scarves have beaded accents. Floral motiffs are big this time of year, both in clothing and jewelry. I did see some breath taking necklaces that had huge enameled flowers. It truly has felt like spring this past week and the sun has shined daily which is a most welcome treat, but I know Mother Nature always throws us a curve at this time of the year. Just when I think it’s time to put away the woolens and pull out lighter weight clothing, we always get a surprise snow storm!
