Snake Charming...

That's the title of this mixed media piece.  A slithery little serpent (say that fast ten times!), made of polymer clay, twines around a "branch" of sterling silver wire, while keeping an eye on the treasure in its lair.  The main focal bead in this fibula is made of  bronze metal clay, the bottom of which is covered with textured epoxy resin clay.  The remainder of the fibula is comprised of fine silver metal clay daggers, beads of carved agate and jasper, a vintage white heart trade bead, disks made of bone  beads, and bronze metal clay embellishments.
