She sells seashells….

PolymerClay_Seashells_CharcoalWithGlassSpikes

Having depleted my recent stash of polymer clay seashell bead/button collections, it was time to make more. This time I chose to make them in a soft shade of metallic charcoal.  Individually created in molds from actual seashells that I've gathered while on vacations in tropical locales, each seashell is unique, varying in size and shape depending on the amount of polymer clay and the pressure used when embedding them in the molds. I have paired them with petite silver-accented black Czech glass baby spike beads, which measure a tiny 5mm x 8mm. I use these in bead embroidery and as embellishments for jewelry, clothing, and home accent projects. I'll be making more of these Seashells ...next time in colors!
