Imagine being in a foreign land on an archeological dig and finding an ancient bronze pendant. That's what I thought of upon finishing this pendant. Afterall - bronze does go way back! What makes this piece twenty-first century is the script embedded in clear resin. A 10mm Chinese turquoise bead dangles on argentium silver wire at the bottom and a sterling silver disk and wrapped silver wire bail adorn the top. It glides along a 22" antiqued brass chain. A hammered sterling silver and bronze wire toggle clasp finishes this piece. I'll have this piece at my trunk show on September 11 at Brio Gallery in Galena, Illinois. I hope I'll see some of you there!
