We have been having such gorgeous weather that beading outdoors on the screened porch has become my favorite place to be of late. I thought I had a great setup for transporting my beading from room to room, but this is the best yet! This US Art Supply 3-Drawer Artist Wood Storage Box just arrived (it can be ordered from many art suppliers) and while it is meant to hold pens, pastels, and markers, guess what? It’s also perfect for bead storage! At 15.75” wide, 10” deep and 6” high, it’s large enough to hold 112 3.5” tubes of beads in the two top drawers. The bottom drawer is large enough to hold the small cigar box I use as my beading board plus beading thread, scissors, needles, thread burner, and more beads! Best of all when I finish beading for the day, I can tuck my project neatly away from pesky cats!
