I'm having so much fun making beaded earrings! I truly don't know why I've waited so long to dive into making these…they work up so rapidly! To be able to gather a modicum of beads (these are great for using up that tiny bit of leftover beads from finished projects!), sit down with needle and thread, and in the course of a few hours be sporting a pair of delightfully colorful bibelots is a thrill! After spending so much time on cuff projects, it is a refreshing change of pace to make earrings! Having made quite a few pair of "Triangular Drop Earrings" (inspired by CGB and Jean Power), I'm now experimenting with pentagons! The earrings dangle from antique-finished lightweight sterling silver chain segments attached to handmade sterling silver ear wires. A tutorial is in the works and will be available in my Etsy shop very soon…I'll let you know when!
