Unlike many creative endeavours, especially those that require heavy equipment like metalsmithing, beading projects can be tucked in a purse or container and carried anywhere you go – there for you and ready when you are! I always have projects packed in travel sized kits and ready to go so I can throw one in my bag at a moments notice. In this small 3″ x 5″ x 1″ container, I carry a metal bead scoop, a spool of thread, thread conditioner, beading needles, peepers, scissors, bead mat, tweezers, and small bags of seed beads – enough to keep me busy for days. I even have enough room to stash some of my mini business cards! Have beads – will travel!
