Several years ago I watched an interesting documentary featuring fashion designer, Karl Lagerfeld. In a particular scene he was dressing in preparation for an evening out with friends and having groomed and dressed himself to the nines, he was ready to bejewel himself. Karl enjoyed wearing several statement rings at one time and he dug into a large basket filled to the brim with incredible rings. Choosing six fabulous pieces, he placed them on various fingers of his gloved hands. Karl had no rules regarding the number of rings one should wear on any given occasion and obviously, one can never have too many rings from which to choose! I too love to wear rings and have just finished the ring shown above. Measuring 30x35mm, it features a large rose-cut Chrysoprase cabochon surrounded by an embellished border of sterling silver surface decoration. I find that I too, am amassing quite a collection of rings and where do I store them? In a basket, of course!
