This lady is jumping for joy!
Could it be that she’s feeling fulfilled and happy with her life? I’d like to think so and have aptly titled this brooch “Happy Heart”. Today is Mother’s Day and my wish for all mothers is that their hearts are light and singing with love, happiness, and a sense of well-being, not just today, but everyday. In a perfect world it would be thus. This little lady is made of base metals: bronze, brass, copper, and nickle silver. Her arms are carved from Micarta sheet (a material often used in knife handles because it carves so beautifully). And her laughing face is enameled and set in a fine silver bezel.
