Fashion is my passion and as much as I love rings, earrings, and pendants, my favorite pieces are bracelets and bangles – lots of them, worn together, and on both wrists! The old school of thought, that it is vulgar to wear more than two pieces of jewelry at a time, is as dead as the “no white after labor day” rule. Thank goodness! There was actually a fashion editor at Harper’s Bazaar in the late 1930’s who was well ahead of her time. She always wore bracelets on both wrists stating “Why should one have unbalanced wrists” – valid reasoning and I agree! These forged and hammer textured sterling silver bangles feature lampworked beads that I purchased from various artists at last year’s Bead & Button show. Wrapped coils of sterling wire and fine silver charms add loads of embellishment. Wearing several on each wrist would definitely have pleased that savvy magazine editor!
