Marginal Error

I've finished another resin pendant.  I had actually started it in a Susan Lenart Kazmer class at the Bead&Button show this past June.  Unfortunately,the pendant leaked resin due to an uneven premade open-backed cast bezel.  I should have carefully inspected the bezel before pouring and hammered it until it was level and flush - hind sight is alway 20-20, isn't it!  The unfinished pendant sat on my work table until last week when I finally took a grinding wheel to the cured leaked resin and fixed that problem.  I then did another resin pour on the front of the pendant to give the surface a subtle dome. Each resin piece I make has at least three or four resin pours and I add inclusions during the various stages of curing.  Patience is definitely required!  I love the vivid colors, the inclusions of measuring tape, and the bits and pieces of torn text.  It is suspended from hammered sterling silver wire upon which I've added a wrapped steel wire sphere and a faceted agate bead. It dangles on a sterling silver neck ring that I wrapped with serpents made of polymer clay.  I've titled this piece "Marginal Error" for apparent reasons!
