Making Polymer Clay and Moulding Compound Texture Sheets

I'm having so much fun!  I've been making texture sheets like crazy and the great thing is that they can be used over and over again!  A simple design is shown at left - I've cut strips of card stock and glued them in random fashion to an index card.  From this, I've made two texture sheets.  The lavender colored sheet was made with two-part moulding compound which I applied directly on top of the original design.  After the moulding compound cured, I impressed a 4cm thick sheet of green polymer clay on it.   Then I added  little squares and dots onto the polymer clay for extra embellishment.  After baking the polymer clay texture sheet, I rolled out bronze metal clay to a thickness of four playing cards, then rolled it onto the polymer clay texture sheet before cutting out my earring designs.  The unfired earrings shown here are now ready to be fired in the kiln.  I'm using Bronzclay™ from a 200 gram package, but whatever metal clay I don't use now,  I can tightly seal and store it in the refridgerator for months and it will be good to go when I'm ready to use it again!
