The perfect day to be indoors warm and cozy as snowflakes gently fell covering every branch, twig, and the remaining skeletons of flowers and grasses in the prairie. Although, I had every intention of working on the geometric beaded bangle that I had started earlier this week, the seven year old in me just had to play with paper! I spent the entire day gleefully inking, stamping, cutting, and collaging! I absolutely love the Sizzix Big Shot Pro machine that Santa brought and I’ve been making a bevy of colorful envelopes in different shapes that will eventually house beading kits. Some of the envelopes are fold-over style, others are sleeves, and I’ve made more oversized square envelopes too. All are large enough to allow room for the display of a photo of the finished project each will hold. It’s really great being a kid again...even if it was just for a day!
