It's here! My new kiln...

just arrived and it's ready to fire up!  The pieces I've been making with bronze metal clay over the past few days in anticipation of the kiln's arrival have dried, been sanded and refined and are ready to go.   Lots of embellishments for beading kits were  created - tiny urchins, seashells, ammonites, and flower disks!  They make really great accents for beaded bracelets and necklaces.  I've also made some bronze metal clay cabochons which I plan to set inside sterling silver bezels and use in pendants and rings as well as a few open bezel pendants which I can fill with resin or polymer clay.  I love having a slew of components ready to go when my muse inspires me to delve into a creative journey!
