I didn’t get any beading accomplished much as I tried. I’ve been busy being a cat mom, which entails ensuring that our bully cat, Jackson, doesn’t chase and beat up on Georgie. I’ve learned not to physically get in between fighting cats so a broom is always at hand if needed! Cooper is on a special diet for renal health and the only way he will eat his wet food is if I purée it. If you have a cat(s), you know how finicky they can be! I just finished assembling a bench/litter box enclosure for Georgie…he seems to enjoy it! Two months ago when Georgie showed up at our door, I called area shelters hoping they would be able to take in a stray cat. I was told they were all filled to capacity, but they put us on the list for when they might have an opening. Funny…today a lady from the shelter called and said they had an opening and could now take the cat we had called about. I told the lady that Georgie has so endeared himself to us that we can no longer imagine life without him. She was delighted and thanked us for giving this stray kitty a forever home. I believe everything happens for a reason…it was just meant to be.
