Into the Deep, Dark Forest

I’ve just finished another pendant  which I’ve titled “Nature Walk”.  I’ve taken many a jaunt through our woodlands searching for  various flora – you never know what you’ll find!  Last spring I discovered a very tiny rare orchid growing in our algific slopes.  When we finished building our house, I hunted for native plants to put in our prairie and always found beautiful varieties of ferns, jack-in-the-pulpit, and wild geranium to put in the landscaped area around the house.  This pendant reminds me of those woodland hikes!  The round bronze bezel holds matte finished resin in which inclusions range from a butterfly wing and ribbon to printed text referring to botany.  Shades of fern, lichen, forest green, and deep pond blue  are layered throughout the pendant which has a see-through back and, therefore, is reversible.  Sterling silver and bronze metal clay decorative findings  add embellishment to the pendant and a large aventurine teardrop dangles from a silver coil at the bottom.  Serenity!
