Inspiration…

I love working with color and I’m usually adept at choosing shades and tones that work well together. But whenever I find myself in a quandary as to which colors to use for a given project I turn to nature. I’ve just started work on a third “Hip to be Square” bangle and I knew that I wanted to feature Fuchsia as one of the colors…my dilemma was whether to go with all brights or something more subdued with a pop of Fuchsia. Inspiration came too me as I was watering plants on our deck. I found the perfect palette in the pot of perennials shown above. The subtle greens are a perfect accompaniment to vivid Fuchsia…serene, restful colors brought to life with a bright contrast! Beautiful!
