BRONZclay FASTfire for the first time and I’m really surprised by the color of the clay. It is somewhat of a mustard color opposed to the original formula which is a deep red-brown. Here you see a bevy of bronze sea shells ready to be sanded and refined before firing. BRONZclay FASTfire must be fired in activated coconut carbon – a first for me as I have always fired the original formula in activated coal carbon. I’m looking forward to firing my work in two hours opposed to the nine hours it took with the original formula. Not only will I save time and electricity, but it will also save my kiln from working overtime and a shorter lifespan!
