Like many people today, I’ve become a slave to technology. I can’t imagine life without the internet anymore and having been without it for twelve days means I have serious catching up to do. As much as I love to get away now and then, coming back to find hundreds of emails that need to be answered, snail mail to sort through, and orders in various states of completion that need to be sent out really has eaten up a lot of time that I’d rather devote to creating. I’m still wading through it all. It’s somewhat frustrating in that I’ve also come back with fresh ideas for new pieces that I’m just dying to play with! Perhaps by next week, the dust will have settled, and I’ll be back at the bench turning those fresh ideas into wearable art!
