on the second beaded ruffle cuff. The photo doesn't do justice to the colors which are far more vibrant than they appear here. The daylight photo lamps I use when taking pictures tend to cool colors down a bit, but in incandescent and sunlight, the colors really pop! At this point the colored stripes remind me of an afghan I once knit, but just wait...once the cuff is edged with bronze colored seed beads and the bronze metal clay disks and crystals are added,this cuff will be transformed into a vision of delight and I may even add some tiny pearls! I have decided to use disks of varying sizes and to place them sporadically along the center of the cuff. That means I'll be spending the next few days making and firing a new batch of bronze metal clay disks. I'm hoping to have this piece finished sometime next week. The beading kit and instructions will follow shortly after!
