Drilling holes in stone and glass is a time-consuming task and not a lot of fun to do. And the heavy weight these elements add to a piece of jewelry can make a piece uncomfortable to wear. These are just several reasons why I love polymer clay. Here is a collection of faux beach glass and river stones, which weigh a fraction compared to natural glass and stone, but look every bit as real. These will be used in a bracelet design that I have in the works. I’ll be offering a step-by-step designer pattern and bracelet/earring kit in my Etsy shop in the very near future. I’ll post a photo of the finished piece as soon as I’m ready to list the project…stay tuned!
