Have I Got A Book For You!

If you're into polymer clay or have been contemplating playing with this medium, check out Christi Friesen's latest effort, "Flourish".  This book is filled with inspiration for all things flora from leaves to buds to blooms!  Christi has written several small instructional booklets over the past few years, which teach one how to sculpt creatures from polymer clay...birds, ocean and jungle animals, even dragons!  But "Flourish" is a larger format book, containing 120 pages of colorful photos and drawings, "how to" tutorials, and ideas for making novel canes and so much more.  I enjoy Christi's style of writing too - somewhat playful "tongue in cheek" and very down to earth, as if she's having a one-on-one conversation with you.  I've never taken a class from Christi, but I think it would be tremendous fun!  For now, I'll just enjoy "Flourish"!
