Hattie Sanderson's new book....

"Contemporary Metal Clay Rings" just arrived in my mailbox.  What a delight!  I've long admired Hattie's designs - she could easily be dubbed the Queen of Ring makers!  With over 700 photos and 21 projects, this 215 page book is filled with exquisite designs sure to tempt every ring aficionado.  The gallery section of the book (pages 188 through 195) displays sixty-six rings by many well-known and accomplished artists. Inspiration abounds in these pages!  I must admit that compared with all the jewelry I have made over the years, I really haven't made very many rings - it's the sizing that I don't particularly enjoy.  But I'm certainly inspired to make more rings, and I even have a few ideas for adjustable ring bands that can be adapted so they will fit just right!
