I had totally forgotten this tutorial! I discovered it while going through files on my computer and there it was…”Cleo’s Serpent Hoops” drop earrings, created five years ago when I was fairly new to beading and writing tutorials. The pattern shows how to make embellished earwires, a peyote stitched hoop, and tiny polymer clay serpents…of course you can dangle other objects on the beaded hoops if you don’t like playing with polymer clay (or snakes)! After reading through the directions and updating them along the way and editing the step-by-step photos, this tutorial joins the collection of patterns available in my shop. “Cleo’s Serpent Hoops” drop earrings is quick and very easy to make…the perfect project for a beginning beader!
