Not roses...but Butterfly Weed, Purple Cone Flower, Coreopsis, Milkweed, Spiderwort, Rattlesnake Master, Penstemon, and other native wildflowers. Our prairie is ten years old now and I've put a lot of time and effort into it. All those hours I've spent weeding (when I could have been beading!) have paid off and our wet spring and summer has contributed to its lush appearance. Now, if only the gnats would leave, I could enjoy walking our prairie path. I think I'll go do some beading instead!
