Daddy's Little Girl

This memory pendant is very special to me.  The photo of my father and me dates back to the early 50's when I was really into my cowgirl phase.  I loved Annie Oakley and watched the series every chance I had while I sat upon my "horse", the giraffe clothes tree my father made for me.  I was Daddy's little girl and he let me know that I was the "apple of his eye" often.  He was a good man,  a loving father who took every opportunity to build my confidence and self-esteem.  I really miss him.  I've  submitted this pendant for inclusion in the PMC Guild Annual #4 along with  the "More Memories" pendant shown in my April 21 blog post. The photo is sandwiched between a textured frame and backing of fine silver metal clay and cold connected with brass rivets.  It is suspended on a sterling link chain with a metal clay toggle/clasp.  A dangling charm completes the piece.
