Clean and Clear…Finally!

It’s taken almost a week of hard work, but my workbench is finally tidy and clear of all miscellaneous and superfluous clutter.  Whew…what a relief!  Where my tools were ensconced in various drawers clanking and knocking against each other, they are now hanging in orderly fashion from pegboard above the bench for easy access.  My beautiful Fretz hammers can now be seen and appreciated while awaiting use.  I even found tools in drawers I had actually forgotten I had – you know, out of sight, out of mind!  The drawers are now filled with individual containers of findings, beads, and charms, all lined up in tidy rows.  This is a far more efficient way of dealing with all the bits and pieces that go into making jewelry.  Now if I can just keep it  this way –  nice and neat.  Wishful thinking.  I wonder how long it will be before my work surface looks like a tornado swept through!
