I think Santa Claus must be stuck in my chimney because all sorts of great things are arriving this week! Here is my darling Kate Wolf belt sander which is the just perfect size for jewelry making! You can see how small it is in comparison to the hammers in the background. I’ve attached it to my workbench with a “C” clamp and the best thing is that it operates by attaching to my flexshaft so I now have variable speed with which to run it. It will save innumerable hours spent hand filing! And it will be great for working with Faux Bone™,Micarta, and Plexiglas, not to mention smoothing rough edges on sterling, copper, brass, and bronze sheet metal . My twenty year old, cumbersome Delta one-speed belt sander can be moved to storage, therefore freeing up valuable workspace. What a luck girl I am!
