Cat Whiskers
You may think this rather daft, but I have a small jar in which I keep whiskers that have fallen from my cat's sweet little faces. I suppose it's akin to a mother keeping her children's baby teeth, a memento of youth and innocence from those you love dearly. Some of these whiskers are quite colossal in length and breadth and they have brushed across many doorways, nooks, and crannies about the house. I'm thinking of making a reliquary of sorts in which to enshrine them. Perhaps I'll make a small winged vessel or tiny treasure chest. Metal clay would be my vehicle of choice for the project. Yes, I envision a teeny silver house with windows and a roof that lifts off to reveal my collection of kitty whiskers!
